After 20 years of war in Afghanistan at a cost of $2.6 billion (!!) a day - 2,448 service members were killed (besides the 3,846 U.S. contractors, and thousands of natives plus allied soldiers).
And....last but not least, the US managed to replace the Taliban....with the Talibanđđđđ
